And when thousands of people converge on a small number of specific wilderness locations, those locations are negatively impacted and at risk of being harmed, destroyed, and blocked off to visitors entirely. At some points, we felt like we were paddling with all our might and not moving at all, but we eventually made it back to the dock. You basically just hug them until they get used to you. We enjoyed the warm hues of the setting sun as we continued our way out to the main road and back to our little cabin in the woods. We recommend adding it to your Montana itinerary.
